Get an API key

Quickstart

Register an AI system, classify it under the EU AI Act and see what you must do, in about five minutes.

1. Create an API key

In V77 Trust, an admin opens Settings → API keys and creates a key. Pick the ai_owner role to create and update records. The key starts with v77_ and is shown once, so store it in your secrets manager.

2. Check the key

4. Classify it

Fetch the questions from GET /classification/questions, then answer the ones that apply. Credit scoring of natural persons falls under Annex III point 5(b):

The response gives the tier, the reasons and the id of the assessment that was opened with the controls that apply:
